Account book, 1866-1893.

Records financial transactions relating to Vickery's and Francis's and later Vickery's carpentry work. Such activities as making steps, weighing and repairing windows, building a screen, shingling the roof of a shop, repairing blinds, sawing, and planing are mentioned. In addition, accounts of money paid out by the company and money owed to it were written in this volume. Expenses for such supplies as nails, paint, lumber, and carting are noted. Vickery and Francis did work for St. Paul's Methodist Church, the King Phillip Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, a flour mill, and the Fall River Council as well as for individual homes and shops.

Thomas F. Vickery was a carpenter and cabinetmaker in Fall River, Bristol County, Ma. From 1866 to 1871 he was in a partnership with Charles A. Francis. Inscription at the front of the volume reads: "Vickery and Francis commenced work in company, Oct. 10th 1866 in Thomas J. Pickering's Shop." From the description of Account book, 1866-1893.
